Bell Food Group Reporting Office

Compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the Bell Food Group, our internal regulations and the Code of Conduct is a top priority for us.

Furthermore, our understanding of corporate responsibility includes the observance, protection and strengthening of human and environmental rights in our own business area and along the supply chain. We are convinced that sustainable business is only possible if we act ethically and with integrity. We encourage you to speak up immediately and report any behaviour if you have any suspicions or knowledge of actual or potential violations. We can only correct a misconduct if whistleblowers recognise it and speak to us.

The Bell Food Group’s whistleblower system is impartial, independent and confidential. You can submit your notification anonymously. Protection, fairness and trust have the highest priority. Your notification will be taken seriously without exception.

1. What can and should you report?

The complaints procedure offers the opportunity to report notifications of unethical behaviour, possible breaches of laws and/or regulations, including human rights or environmental risks or breaches against the company’s own business area, as well as along the entire supply chain. You can report issues to us in the sense of whistleblowing reports as well as complaints in accordance with the German Act on Due Diligence in Supply Chains (LkSG).

These may include, but are not limited to, the following topics and suspicions:

  • violation of due diligence obligations along the supply chain (in particular in the area of child labour, minerals and metals from high-risk areas, human rights in general, corruption, violations of environmental protection laws or environmental regulations, etc.);
  • active or passive bribery (e.g. the acceptance of undue gifts/invitations);
  • undisclosed conflicts of interest;
  • breaches of competition law (e.g. price fixing, exchange of sensitive information, agreements with competitors);
  • property offences (fraud/theft/embezzlement/mismanagement, etc.);
  • violation of the data protection or IT security directives;
  • product safety breaches/deficiencies;
  • bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination, breaches of personal integrity.

2. How does the reporting process work?

Incoming reports will be received and processed by experienced and qualified employees in accordance with a standardised procedure. We examine every notification and follow up on your report. However, a comprehensive and pertinent investigation of reports can only succeed if the facts are adequately communicated to us. Therefore, please provide us with as many details as possible about the incident.

All information received will be treated as strictly confidential, reports can be submitted anonymously if desired and anonymity will also be guaranteed in further processing of such reports.
